IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT

When an agency partners with FirstMatch, they receive a full complement of services, from implementation and start-up to ongoing maintenance and technical support.

Readiness Assessment

A Readiness Assessment will be completed when an agency decides they want to explore the possibility of becoming a licensed/authorized FirstMatch user. The assessment will:

  • Outline various program types and locations
  • Evaluate current referral workflows
  • Collect data on referrals and admissions
  • Collect baseline program completion and remain-out-of-care rates, as well as other desired outcomes
  • Assess the agency’s data capacity

Account Manager support during the readiness assessment process will ensure the implementation process is thoroughly mapped out.

Initial Engagement

Once an agency decides they are going to implement FirstMatch, a Master Services Agreement is created. This agreement outlines:

  • Overall scope of the project
  • Framework under which users will enter into Statements of Work
  • Costs
  • Ownership of the work product
  • Other standard components

Implementation

Agencies select how they plan to arrive at FirstMatch validation. There are two primary tracks after tool implementation:

  • Agency can choose to populate the tool with historical clinical and outcomes data so that they can reach critical sample size necessary for validation
  • Agency can choose to begin their entry in FirstMatch with new referrals moving forward

Refinement and Validation

Once the necessary sample size has been reached and the tool has been refined and trained, the tool will be certified as valid and the agency will begin using the tool to make predictions and data-driven recommendations.

Tool Maintenance

A critical component of the tool is that it does not remain static. The tool continuously refines its ability to accurately predict and match, starting as soon as the user enters clinical and agency data.
